I grew up in the mountains, in a house with wood heat, an hour away from the closest town. I joined the Marines at 17. At 23, I started a business with no experience, no money, and no network. Everyone thought I would fail. I’ve been the outcast and the underdog everywhere I’ve gone. What most people don’t realize is this: no matter the disadvantage, I know how to work. I’ll split wood all summer to stay warm in the winter. I’ll train every hour of the day, for years, to protect my brothers in combat. I’m relentless. I will not quit. I don’t make excuses. And no matter what I choose to do, I will win. I will out-study, out-work, and outlast anyone head-to-head.
But here’s the truth: raw drive only takes you so far. I realized that to build a great, enduring company, I needed a team—a team of people who share that same fire. People who aren’t afraid to compete, who refuse to settle for mediocrity, and who are willing to do whatever it takes to win. Launchpoint is that team.
